Apps that help me run my Local Newsletter
Six months ago I published what programs and apps I was using to help run my local newsletter. Since then I’ve changed a few around and thought I’d update my list.
Here’s what programs I currently use each week:
SUBSTACK - Where I send my weekly newsletter from
META BUSINESS SUITE (as well as FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM individually) - Where I can schedule posts, share news, contact groups/individuals, and be notified of local events
NOTION - I recently swapped from Google Spreadsheets and Docs, I now use Notion for my calendar and to keep notes about upcoming articles
LINKTREE - An easy way to allow Instagram followers to visit links
GOOGLE ALERTS - A daily email showing me where Google has found my town mentioned online
GUMROAD - Where I currently sell advertorials and ad spots. It’s probably not the most efficient way to do this, but I haven’t put effort into finding something better yet
